Generational experts William Strauss and Neil Howe coined the term 'Millennials' to describe the generation that came after 'Gen X.' Born in 1982 or after and coming of age right now, the Millennials are reversing teenage trends associated with rebellion. Strauss and Howe cite research that indicates Millennials take fewer risks, are more socially conscious and strive to solve political conflict by working within the system instead of against it.
