I make documentaries.  Late last year I completed my second feature documentary: The Young Composers Challenge. This film features five teenagers (among 45 total) who enter a competition to compose a piece of classical music over one summer.  The winners have their pieces performed in a free concert by the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra. As of November 2010 the film has screened in six film festivals across the country, won two national awards and one state award.  Late this year I completed The Circle Closes and am currently sending it out to music and film festivals.   In 2009 I completed my first feature documentary, Dear Mr. Gore: A Somewhat Cinematic Correspondence Awkwardly Tracing A Circular Journey Constructed on a Warming Planet. The film screened in London, Spain, Tampa and Orlando.  Also in 2009, my short film Peace Corps: JFK's Bold Legacy won the Cultural Achievement Award at the MOFILM Festival in Barcelona.
